Poll: Is Military Intervention in Syria Now Likely?

On the heels of last Friday’s massacre in Houla, calls for Western intervention in Syria are growing louder. Russia and China (whose assent would be needed for UN Security Council authorization of a Libya-like military operation) are still opposed to military intervention, but NATO has a history of bypassing the UN to take action alone, as in the 1999 Kosovo War.
